Pams Fernleaf Yellow Bell Bush – A Real Show Stopper – Pams Fernleaf Trumpetbush is a seedling sport discovered by Pam R. of Botanical Growers. This beautiful variety is simply loaded with draping, deep green fern-like leaves with serrated edges rather than the common five finger variety. Trumpetbush is the official flower of the U.S. Virgin Islands. Sunshine Yellow trumpet shaped flowers are 1 to 2 inches long and hang in showy clusters from the tips of the bright green leaf covered branches. Highly drought tolerant and easily contained in a planter or placed in a smaller garden where space is limited.

All varieties grow very well in containers, indoors or on the patio. Smaller varieties grow best indoors in 10″ to 14″ diameter pots while larger varieties need enough room for growth, generally a 14″ to a 24″ diameter, 14″ deep container will suffice. Remember the looser the roots, the taller and healthier your Pams Fernleaf Yellow Bell Bush will be. When the plant becomes root bound its growth will slow, at that point it is time for a larger pot.

Note:
Before leaving, plants are inspected, watered, and pruned. Larger plants, generally those that ship in 8″ pots, will be topped to 36″ or 48″ overall, depending on the variety, if necessary, to facilitate shipping. Your new plants’ pot is then bagged to ensure that the soil stays in the pot and not loose in the box. Plants are tissue or kraft paper wrapped and generally secured in place with natural biodegradable peanuts.
