Super White Hawaiian Ficus (ficus microcarpa)

Microcarpa is a very popular, mostly white variegated bonsai houseplant in temperate areas, due to its elegant growth and tolerance neglect. Ficus grow best in bright, sunny conditions but will also tolerate considerable shade. Microcarpa requires a moderate amount of watering in summer to keep it from drying out. Planted in-ground this ficus makes a wonderful focal point, normally growing to 50 feet in height with a 40 foot crown at maturity in South Florida and Southern Cal.
